The
Oradell Car & Motorcycle Show to benefit
The Erin Chack Fund will be on
Sunday,
October 18th (Rain Date Sunday, October 25th - please check back
here for updates) at the Oradell Senior Center/Veteran
Building parking lot. There will be music, food, Tricky Tray and
numerous trophies.
Joanne and John Chack have been involved in Oradell for over a
decade. Joanne teaches at OPS with innovated nature programs on
recycling and living things. She planted the flower garden at the
train station and works on the Environmental and Beautification
committee in town. Joanne was a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter,
Elizabeth. John has coached soccer and softball with their younger
daughters. Erin and Emily.
Erin was following her talent for writing at Boston University.
After a sports injury, she complained of a stiff neck (her only
symptom). A medical workup led to the diagnosis of Hodgkin's
Lymphoma. She is only 19 years old and has began the treatments of
chemotherapy to combat the disease.
As friend's of the Chack family, we are asking for your
participation on October 18th. We anticipate over 100 show cars on
display for People's Choice Awards and numerous sponsored trophies.
Car Show Registration Details:
Car & Truck - $15 pre-registration, $20 after Oct.
10th.
Motorcycle - $10 pre-registration, $20 after Oct.
10th.
Registration on show day starts at 8:30 AM.
Dash plaques will be awarded to first 100 entries.
